About Solnox Systems

Engineering cleaner systems for companies and communities.

Solnox Systems helps organisations meet sustainability goals, develop compliant off-grid energy systems, and manage the practical responsibilities that come with lithium storage, transport, and disposal.

Our point of view

Sustainability should be measurable, buildable, and safe.

We believe clean energy work has to be more than ambition. It needs evidence, reporting, compliance pathways, safe logistics, and systems that can survive real operating conditions.

That means pairing engineering judgment with practical implementation, from small portable off-grid systems through to automated assets and virtual power plant models.

Considered

We define the compliance, safety, and lifecycle requirements before prescribing a system.

Useful

Every project should make sustainability easier to prove, operate, and maintain.

Maintainable

We care about what happens after installation, including monitoring, transport, and disposal.

Core team

Founded by people who care about resilient communities.

Solnox Systems is led by two co-founders with a shared respect for Australia, New Zealand, and the companies and communities working toward cleaner, more independent energy systems.

Sebastien McGrath

Co-founder and CTO

Sebastien McGrath

Sebastien leads the engineering direction at Solnox Systems. He is driven by practical, well-built systems and the belief that thoughtful engineering can make clean energy safer, more measurable, and more resilient.

Pedro MacLean

Co-founder and Client Relationships Director

Pedro MacLean

Pedro leads client relationships with a focus on community, trust, and long-term impact. He is passionate about helping organisations and communities move toward cleaner, more self-sustaining infrastructure.

A quieter model

Solnox Systems was shaped by time spent travelling through New Zealand, where Sebastien and Pedro saw an off-grid community operating without combustion engines: no generators, petrol cars, whipper snippers, or fuel-driven machinery. That experience sharpened a shared belief that communities and companies deserve systems that are cleaner, quieter, and built for long-term independence.

A full lifecycle view

Pedro also saw the damage caused by a lithium-battery-related dump fire in the Doomadgee Aboriginal Shire. We understand the benefits of lithium, and we also understand how important it is to honour the full lifecycle of batteries and tackle the challenges that come with them.

Approach

From sustainability requirement to workable system.

01

Frame

Understand the goal, site, reporting requirements, safety risks, and constraints.

02

Shape

Turn the work into a practical engineering, compliance, or grant-readiness plan.

03

Build

Support delivery of off-grid, storage, transport, reporting, or automation systems.

04

Refine

Improve through testing, documentation, lifecycle planning, and operational feedback.
